FOUNDERS BIO
Rema Renee Miller is currently the CEO of MillerTyme Entertainment, a family operated company. A “standout athlete” at Clemson University, Rema was a member of the Lady Tiger Basketball Team, finishing her career as the 4th All-Time in 3 pointer’s made and attempted. After losing her baby brother Brandon to leukemia, basketball took a backseat. Leaving a legacy for her loved ones to inherit became her driving force. A lover of music, Rema desired to use music as a platform to help educate, heal, and bring awareness to social issues that affect young people within her community.
Providing entertaining and uplifting concerts was one sure way she could enjoy music, help others, and have a good time in the process. MillerTyme Entertainment promoted their first concert in 2003 and has never looked back. Rema believes strongly that music has the power to educate and provide a “therapeutic” experience that the entire family and community can benefit from.
Rema Renee Miller presently serves as the Regional Director of the United Athletes Foundation, a nonprofit organization created in 2008 by a group professional athletes committed to impacting communities through education and social development. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of Positive American Youth (P.A.Y.), a nonprofit organization focusing focused on helping youth through entertainment, sports, educational, motivational, and fund raising events.
