"Thanksgiving in the Park".

WHAT: First Annual "Thanksgiving in the Park"

WHEN: Thanksgiving Day 2010

WHY: Each year many children and adults go hungry; however, the
shocking truth is that many of those people live right beside
us in our own neighborhoods and nearby communities. MXE
would like to bring some awareness to this issue and have
our First Annual "Thanksgiving in the Park". We often forget the holiday season is not a happy time for a lot of people.
This year let's join together and help make it a better time for
as many people and families as possible.

WHERE: We will identify a park in a community that has some concrete poverty issues and provide Thanksgiving Dinner to those in and around that community.

"Thanksgiving in the Park". Our goals with these projects will be to provide scholarships that will allow young and college aged kids to study abroad... regardless of their backgrounds and/or limitations. We also want to help provide scholarship opportunities for young people who otherwise will not be able to attend summer camp opportunities. Through these projects we aim to be more financially supportive with providing scholarships this year.
